Lucia Hassell champions as an ambassador of meaningful technology integration by using educational technologies and providing support for teaching and learning to educational professionals and students. With over twelve years of experience, Lucia holds an extensive background in technology integration, support, training, and design.
Lucia is passionate about using Google Apps to improve workflows and encourage collaboration among all members of the school community. In addition, she maintains a YouTube channel where she publishes how-to tutorials and shares innovative and creative resources with educators around the world. She regularly spends her time coaching educators by conducting hands-on learning opportunities for teachers, students, and professionals alike.
Outside of the educational realm, Lucia enjoys motivating and encouraging leadership among youth, especially young women. This passion provided her a platform to present as a speaker at Project for Haiti’s Women’s Leadership Conference in Cap Haitian, Haiti. Additionally, she is a founder of the Howard University QuaDrew Alumni Association and serves as a mentor and advisor to the Howard University Quad Step Team--a position she has held for over fifteen years.
